The International Training Course on Mangrove Biodiversity and Ecosystems was designed by the Centre of Advanced Study in Marine Biology, Annamalai University, India, with financial assistance provided by the United Nations University. The course has been supported by UNU-INWEH, the UNESCO Man and the Biosphere Programme (UNESCO-MAB), and the South Asia Co-operative Environment Programme (SACEP).
